Everything about the mando is great except for the tailpiece cover. Tha brass cover is continually falling off. I have contacted Washburn and they said I need to bend it a little more. Still doesn't stay on. Washburn needs to come out with a free fix for these poorly designed tailpiece covers.

I bought the M3SW new after playing a friend's model. This mando is pretty well built and has a very nice finish. There were some slight quality issues with the fit of the bindings on my model but it does not affect the play nor is it very obvious. I love the feel of this instrument. A thicker neck makes for a comfortable fit (to me). It's not got great volume but the action is great and the tone (after playing for over a year) is really getting rich. One of the best values in a solid carved top mando from overseas.

It was Outstanding right out of the box. It’s a Great little player lots of fun. No defects. And I looked hard to find one as I'm sure we all do. It is a real nice case. Overall a superb value! I think Washburn builds a "quality" instrument.
