The Musician's Gear Hardshell Harmonica Case is a pretty simple thing, after all. No real surprises, just a simple, convenient case, typical in quality of most Chinese manufactured cases I've encountered. They're not perfect in form or fit, but they work; that's the trade-off one should expect for getting something like this so affordably. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it fits my Behringer Eurorack M 602A mini-mixer like it was designed for it. I'm guessing other small mixers would work well in here, too. Handy, indeed!

Not a good buy

Where the ends are sewn on the outside edges of the case, the vinyl came apart where one of the brads was missing. I can't keep my harps in order because they fall all over the place and rattle inside the case as there are no slots. I wish I had followed the advice in some of the reviews I had read and not made the purchase.

Got this for my birthday, thought it was great till I put my harps in and there was no slots for them, they just rub against each other and fall all over inside when you carry it. When I closed and latched it there was enough warpage across the front for my Hoo Doo microphone to fall out. I was very disappointed and sent it back.

I got this case about a year ago when I found I had way too many harps and no where to put them. When I got the case some of the leather on the sides was peeling off, but it never came off fully, and I'm sure if I got around to it I could fix it. But this case is very good. I have even stepped on it (accidentally) and it still functions

I still have my Musicians Gear Hardshell Harmonica Case. By the looks it, I'm convinced that unless someone drops it over a cliff, into the ocean or in the path of a car, truck or trailer, there it will provide plenty more years of use.

The Musicians Gear Hardshell Harmonica Case still provides an excellent means of transporting my harmonicas and keeps them organized. Being as disorganized as I can be, this product has already paid for itself!

By the way, there is another brand which markets a hardshell harmonica case, but with a much higher price tag.

I refuse to knock a brand-name which markets great musical instruments, so I will refrain from naming names, but if you would rather put Leo's grandchildren through college than to save a lot of money, then don't buy this or any products from Musician's Gear.
