The Michael Kelly Legacy Elegante F-Style Mandolin is beautifully crafted with stunning flame wood binding on the neck and body. A wider sunburst finish and flamed maple back lend visual distinction.

The Elegante is handcrafted with a solid spruce top, solid flamed maple back and sides, rock maple neck, and radiused ebony fingerboard with abalone mini-dot inlays and scooped fingerboard extension. The top, back, and bracing are all hand carved. Fittings include an adjustable ebony bridge, Grover tuners, gold hardware, and Graphtech tusq nut.

I bought one of these 5 years ago. Didn’t care for the strings that came on it and after some work found that Gibson Mediums make this thing bark It took about 1 year of constant play to get it broke in and now it plays as good as mandolins costing twice as much. Get this one it will do you proud.

I bought this mandolin 2 yrs ago and I could not have asked for more. The sound is awesome and it gets louder with age. I play about 4-8 dates a month and and just recorded using this mandolin with the fishman pick-up. It sounded great. Very soild built and beautiful finish. Plays like a dream. No question it was the right choice.

I wrote a review on this mandolin when I first got it and still love it.It is without a dought one of the best that have I ever played,craftsman is excellant with detail to hand work and finish. The sound and bark are bluegrass all the way,also on solo's can be herd above other instruments while playing. You can't go wrong with this one.{I got the tobacco sunburst high gloss}
