The mandolin's striking visual impact is enhanced by gold hardware, abalone dot inlays, triple ply top binding and a fully bound back. The neck is North American rock maple and is attached with a dovetail joint; in combination with the solid spruce top and the Michael Kelly one-piece tailpiece, it provides impeccable tone.
