This is a very nice ukulele. It has a sweet tone, looks great, is well built, and is inexpensive. I have only had it a few days but so far so good. The tuning gears make it a pleasure to tune and it holds a tune well. It sounds great and is fun to play. You can stop your search now for a great value and buy this ukulele.

I think the first time I played a ukulele, it was a fibre-glass pineapple uky. I picked it up and had tons of fun for hours (I was at a friend's house), so when I went home I got online to buy one. I actually spent a lot of time looking, comparing, and weighing my options (I always want to make sure I'm getting the best deal), and I finally settled on the LU-21. When I got it, it sounded so clear and so resonant that I immediately knew that this was the best deal. I would highly recommend this or the pineapple model if you're looking for a ukulele.

I was inspired to get a ukulele after hearing 5 Years Time by Noah and the Whale so I started looking around. I stumbled across this little uke. I compared and looked at a bunch of other places but kept coming back to the LU-21. So I ordered it got it the other day, tuned it twice (G-C-E-A) haven't had to retune yet which is a major plus! I have played guitar for 6 years and was worried about the transition to a uke (thinking it'd be dificult) but I have learned about 4 songs on it already and love it! it has such a happy sound. The quality of the instrument is good, the strings are nice (aquillas)I highly recommend this to anyone considering getting a ukulele it is so much fun.

I bought this Lanikai LU-21 Ukulele because it was cheap and I wanted to start off simple. I didn't want to go out and buy a hundred-dollar ukulele and find out that it wasn't for me. I was extremely surprised on the sound quality, as it was great. I've learned easily and it's a fun instrument. However, now that I am good and spend some time around other ukulele players, I find that my sound isn't as good as the more professional players. I plan on buying a nice ukulele soon, but this instrument was absolutely perfect to start out on and has an extremely good value.

The only other problem is that it does not stay in tune easily, no matter what the strings. I found myself re-tuning every time I put the ukulele down or after every half-hour of playing. No problem though, great practice!

this ukulele is awesome, the price is great, it sounds amazingly good, and the quality of the hardware is good, the only problem I've had with it so far (I've only had it for a day) is that it goes out of tune easily but im sure that its because the strings are new and need to stretch out a little but other than that its a great ukulele
