First of all, the reviewer below implies that the harmonicas in this set are not special 20's; THESE ARE IN FACT, SPECIAL 20'S!

Having said that, buying 5 special 20's separately adds up to much more than what this set costs and the case that comes with it is very nice!

If you aren't familiar with what a "Special 20" is, google it; the Special 20 is the harmonica of choice for many proffessionals. Fortunately, it is very beginner friendly as well!

If you are serious about harmonica, don't waste your time on cheaper instrumentes; splurge on this set (these are SO much funner than the cheaper alternatives) and buy the Bb and F ones as well.

My only complaint? This set only has 5 harmonicas! I think Hohner should just throw in an F and a Bb harmonica, raise the price by $60, and sell it as a complete set.

This Harmonica set is a great deal. Don't be expecting the quality of a Special 20, but they definitely get the job done pretty well. I use them every time I play, useful buy!
