My grandfather had a Melodica when I was little I would play it. Now I have my own A Saprano, I am a keyboardest by trade, and well I figured this was a logical choice. Though it was a bit on the expensive side you really get bang for your buck. This is really worth the price in my opinion

I never knew until about a month ago browsing this site that Hohner still made the Melodica, i have to say for playing an old Hohner harmonica for a few years this was definitly a step up the keys feel nice and responsive how over it did seem to feel akward at times to use the strap underneath over all its a keeper
