I started with a Johnson MA180 and eventually graduated to this Breedlove. It is a great mandolin, I have had no problems with it and it sounds great. It is a better mandolin than I am a player!!!

Simple but exquisite. This thing shimmers. Everything you need and nothing you don't. The fit and finish were flawless. Great clarity, punch and volume. I test-drove this thing against several others, including a Gibson and it was the clear stand-out. This is definitely a keeper.
